Person-Centred Therapy
And Mindfulness Services
Empowering you through person-centred Therapy and compassionate Mindfulness Practice.
How Person-Centred Therapy can help
Person-centred therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, is a therapeutic approach that emphasises the importance of the individual's perspective and experiences. This form of therapy is based on the belief that people possess an inherent ability to understand themselves and resolve their own issues. By providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment, the therapist helps clients explore their thoughts and feelings, fostering self-discovery and personal growth. The goal is to empower individuals to find their solutions and develop a greater sense of self-worth. Through active listening and reflection, clients can gain insights into their emotions and behavior, leading to improved mental health and well-being. Ultimately, person-centred therapy can help individuals navigate challenges, enhance their relationships, and cultivate a more authentic and fulfilling life.
At Acceptance is Key, I provide person-centred therapy which will help to support your mental well-being and personal growth. Together, we can navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding. I look forward to working with you.

Person-Centred Therapy
As a CPCAB fully qualified person-centred therapist, I am dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals seeking growth and transformation. My therapeutic approach is rooted in acceptance, unconditional positive regard, and empathy, which together create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences. By fostering this compassionate atmosphere, I empower clients to embrace change and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Through our collaborative journey, I strive to help each individual unlock their potential and navigate the challenges they may face, ultimately guiding them toward a more fulfilling life. Through Person-Centred Therapy I can help individuals through bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress, trauma and various other issues you may be experiencing or going through.
Mindfulness Practice
I provide mindfulness techniques and practices designed to cultivate inner calm and enhance well-being. I can help you with various breathing techniques that are effective in reducing anxiety and panic attacks when they arise. These practices will help take you out of your sympathetic or fight of flight mode, and back into your parasympathetic mode where any uncomfortable feelings or emotions will naturally dissipate. I offer guidance on meditation practices that encourage a deeper connection with your emotions and bodily sensations, promote healthier breathing patterns and help reduce anxiety and stress. I help individuals understand the destructive nature of negative thinking and its impact on mental health and also the power of the subconscious mind and the power this has over our daily lives. By promoting the importance of living in the present moment, I emphasize acceptance and awareness, allowing individuals to navigate life's challenges with greater ease. I will assist you in raising your vibration to allow for a more fulfilling and positive life. Through these methods, my aim is to empower others to embrace a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Mindfulness Therapy
Mindfulness therapy is an innovative approach to mental health that integrates the person-centred philosophy, Buddhist principles, and Mindfulness practices. Many individuals struggle through anxiety and depression often on a daily basis. Through Mindfulness therapy, I can guide you in embracing the here and now. This therapy encourages individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, promoting self-awareness and personal growth. By combining the compassionate understanding typical of person-centred therapy with practices rooted in mindfulness, such as meditation, acceptance and breathing exercises, clients learn to connect more deeply with their present experiences. This holistic approach not only fosters emotional resilience but also empowers individuals to cultivate a more balanced and peaceful mindset, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being.
In 2017, I faced the overwhelming challenges of crippling anxiety and panic attacks that persisted for several years. However, through the practice of mindfulness activities like Qi Gong, meditation, breathing exercises, along with therapy, I was able to reclaim my life. My passion for spirituality, Buddhism, and breathwork led me to read extensively and gain insight into these practices. I've pursued formal studies in mindfulness, Buddhism, and meditation, earning CPD diplomas in these fields. While all these practices have greatly enriched my journey, it was discovering person-centered therapy that truly allowed me to cultivate acceptance of myself and my place in the world. Now, I find joy in sharing my experiences, knowledge, and understanding with others, hoping to inspire them on their own paths to healing and self-acceptance. I love being a Counsellor foremost and helping others through my various therapy approaches. My love for both spirituality, especially in Buddhism and the person-Centred approach sparked the idea for the name Acceptance is Key. Acceptance is at the heart of Buddhism where accepting situations, yourself or emotions allows for peace within and within the Carl Rogers concept of the 7 stages of process which is a way of mapping a clients progress in therapy, stage 6 is "acceptance and transformation". This is where Clients are able to accept their feelings, emotions, situations just as they are, allowing for transformation and growth.
